REGISTRATION
Walk-in registration is at the Dad’s Club warehouse on Saturday, Jan 17 (10 AM to Noon)
Online registration is available 24/7 at BayAreaTexasBaseball.com until teams fill up.
SPRING FEES & DIVISIONS
PRACTICE
Practice can begin Feb 15.
No practice permitted prior to Feb 15.
Practices can be any day other than same day as a game. Each team’s is different.
T-Ball practices are usually about an hour. Older players can practice up to 2 hours.
T-Ball teams can meet 3 times/week (most practice twice per week until games begin, then once)
Ages 7 and up can meet 4 times/week (most practice twice per week all season)
Games and practices count as a meeting.
TEAM ASSIGNMENT
No team formation is released until there is a team manager. Team manager does not have to be the head coach.
Team assignments will be announced between Feb 9 and Feb 14.
Those who played in BATB last spring will return to their spring team unless they choose not to.
Other players are placed by best geographic fit or by specific request (where practical).
FALL PLAYERS DO NOT AUTOMATICALLY RETURN TO THEIR FALL TEAM; ONLY THEIR SPRING TEAM.
GAME SCHEDULES
Game schedules will be released during the first week of March.
Games will be played on Saturdays and weekdays from March 16 through May 28 (if needed).
No games on Easter (April 3 - 5) or Memorial weekend (May 22 through May 25).
T-Ball plays Saturdays plus a weekday game now and then (usually a Mon or Tue). Others usually play Saturdays plus a weekday game (usually Mon or Tue).
STANDINGS & AWARDS
Standings are maintained and placement trophies awarded for MP2 (age 8) through 18U.
Participation trophies are provided by the league for TB1 through MP1 in the spring.
